The very camera shy Olivia Grace

We had a 3D ultrasound done on Tuesday and we were so hoping that we would get a good look at our beautiful Olivia Grace, but she had other plans. The sonographer managed to get one decent picture of her and I guess I should be grateful for that. Anyway...Olivia is breach and she is in such a funny position we just could not get that many great pictures of her. She actually has her bottom down like she is sitting with her legs folded up to her head and her feet are crossed at the ankles. She also has her little arms tucked right beside her. We tried to get her to move her face but she would kinda shake her head no at us. Hopefully she will straighten out at some point, but they said it's not likely. Oh well. So, for now she is camera shy. We will see how long this lasts once she arrives since she has 3 very photogenic attention seeking siblings. Enjoy the pics.

Happy Father's Day to Derron

Just a quick one today. I just wanted to let everyone know how thankful the kids and I are that we have Derron. He is truly a wonderful Daddy and husband. He is always putting his family first and we are grateful for that. The kids just got home from GA and that was the best Father's Day gift he could have gotten. They woke him up at 8:00 am and gave him their cards and gift and covered him with hugs and kisses. We are so blessed to have him.

A tribute to all the wonderful Dad's in our lives.

So, with Father's Day approaching I thought it would be nice to pay tribute to the many wonderful men that have impacted not only my life or Derron's life, but also the lives of our children. They are fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and friends. These wonderful men are all important to us and we love them very much. Below is a slide show with all of these great men.Happy Father's Day.

The kids go fishing with Grandaddy

Madison with her catch of the day.Callie with one of her catches of the day.
Gavin and Callie with one of Gavin's catches.
For the past few months all Callie has talked about was going fishing with her Grandaddy. She has been so excited about it and today she finally got to go. She called me as soon as she could and said, "Momma, I caught 2 fishes!" She was so excited. She went on to tell me that Gavin caught 2, Madison caught 1 and my niece Karmen caught 1. I am really glad that she got to experience this with my Daddy. He would take me and my sister fishing all the time when we were younger. And I am so glad that Callie was interested and excited about fishing with her Grandaddy.

Trip to Georgia

We had such a great visit to Georgia. Lots of things were accomplished. Visit Family(x), Lunch with the girls(x), Derron signs contract with Tift Regional Medical Center(x), Find land to build a house on(x). See lots of things were accomplished. We had a lot of fun and it wasn't too hot. There were gnats, but well, those are always around. The kids are still there until June 20th. Derron and I are trying to deal with all of the quite at our house right now.
We are very excited about our move to GA in July of 2010. It will be nice to be near family and friends. But it will also be nice to raise our children in the south. Derron and I are both very proud of where we come from, even though we both complain about the heat, bugs, slow drivers, and allergies. We both love the south and think it's a great place to raise our children. We look forward to starting this new chapter in our lives.
I will post a slide show of all the pictures from our trip. The only thing I am missing is pictures from lunch with Amanda and Natalie.
