It's been A while, I know....

I don't post like I should. I guess it's because I started this blog when we lived in Missouri and it was mainly for our family who lived in GA.  Since we moved back to GA in 2010 I haven't posted on here as much and that isn't fair to our Missouri family. Although we keep in touch through facebook this blog was meant to be a way to keep everyone updated on the kids, Derron, and myself on a much more personal level. So, I apologize for doing a crappy job.

We finished school last Friday!! WOO HOO! This has been one of the longest and hardest years for Gavin and Madison. School is always a breeze for Callie. Gavin finished his FRESHMAN year of high school by the grace of Heavenly Father. He will have to take Spanish 2 over next year, but we are ok with that and we are EXTREMELY thankful that he will have a new Spanish teacher. Hopefully he/she will have a higher opinion of him than this teacher did. Madison made it through 5th grade thanks to the love, support, and amazing tutoring skills of Kari Collins. Kari was one of  Madison's teachers in 4th grade and let me just say she is the most amazing person ever. There is no love lost between the 5th grade teachers and myself. I am so glad that is OVER! Callie finished 3rd grade with flying colors as usual. She had the AWESOME Tonya Tanner for her teacher. WE look forward to Tonya teaching Olivia in a few years too. Olivia "graduated" preschool 3 and will start
Pre-K in the fall. She is so excited! She had the best year with Mrs. Allison and Mrs. Tammy at First Methodist Preschool.

Our year was BUSY to say the least. FOOTBALL, CHEER LEADING, TUMBLING, MODELING, ACTING, & BASEBALL. That is just the kids activities. We took a trip to Disney World too. I will post pictures from that later.

Gavin turns 16 in 2 months. Madison will be 12 in 3 months. Lots of milestones coming up. Not a day goes by that I don't miss Missouri or my "Missouri Family", but overall we are happy here in GA and finally getting settled.
